Tay has worked with vulnerable children and families for over 20 years and has two degrees in Psychology (BSc and MSc), a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology (MSc) and a Master’s degree in Social Work (MA). She has been awarded an MBE for her work promoting adoption and fostering in Muslim communities. Tay is also an ambassador for the British Association of Social Work. Prior to joining UK Fostering she had been a manager in a local authority fostering agency and has worked in various sectors (including mental health, children’s homes and youth justice). Tay has attended and delivered a range of training across various sectors, including local authority, charity and the independent sector.
